Her resarch areas include applied linguistics, interpreting, interculturalcommunication. She teaches Applied Linstuics, Chinese Culture for MA students, Introduction to research for doctoral students. She has published monographs such as《Interpreting learner autonomy in Chinese contexts》、《Language learning strategies of US university students studying Chinese》and《Research on interpreting teaching and learning》and a few resarch papers in SSCI journals. She has been awarded First Prize of Teaching Achievenments, Renmin University, Excelent Teacher Mentor Award, Beijing Metropolitan University-level Teaching Competition, Baogang Best Teacher Award, and Baogang Education Foundation.
