Prof Lu Jie (吕捷)
General Information

Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Dean and Associate Professor of the School of Agriculture and Rural Development of Renmin University of China, Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering, Cornell University, Postdoctoral in Public Administration, Tsinghua University. He served successively as Assistant Dean of the School of Agriculture and Rural Development, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Office and Director of the Confucius Institute Office of Renmin University of China, and Deputy Dean of the Silk Road School of Renmin University of China and Deputy Dean of the School of International Studies.

Education

From August 2000 to June 2004, he studied in the Department of Physics of Nanjing University and received a Bachelor of Science degree

From August 2004 to February 2009, he studied at Cornell University in the United States and received a doctorate degree in electronic and computer engineering. During the period, a minor in economics, with a research direction of macro-econometrics and statistics (under the tutelage of Professor Hong Yongmiao)

From March 2009 to June 2011, post-doctorate at the School of Public Administration, Tsinghua University, with a focus on national conditions research, macroeconomics, and sustainable development (studied by Professor Hu Angang)

June 2011-now, School of Agriculture and Rural Development, Renmin University of China, lecture
