In order to further improve the quality of talentscultivating, do a good job in students' thesis defense, help students build up confidence, ease students’ anxiety, on May 8th, Silk Road School organized a mock defense for students.

The mock defenseis conducted online and offline. Students in Suzhou gathered in classroom 204, while other overseas students watched through the Voov meeting. Professor Jiang Xiaoli, Deputy Dean of Silk Road School, and Dr.Zhu Fengyu, Director of the Teaching and Student Affairs Department of Silk Road School attended the mock defence.

Maria Nazeer and Manahil Ijaz from Pakistan and Catalina Chen Li from Costa Rica defended in the classroom. The two committee members give guidance to each student from the aspects of the topic selection, the completion of the dissertation, the logic and preciseness of argumentation, and the standardization of documents, and point out the problems in the dissertation with a rigorous and responsible academic attitude, and proposed the pertinence revision suggestion.

2021 master's degree thesis defense is imminent, through the mock defense activities, students feel the defense atmospherein advance, more familiar with the defense process, know their own strengths and weaknesses better, effectively enhance the students'self-confidence, ease the anxiety before the final defense.We believe that all the students will be able to pass the thesis defensesuccessfully, and graduate on schedule!
