Silk Road School visits Universities in Heilongjiang for Research
On November 11th, Deputy Dean Jiang Xiaoli and Student Affairs Assistant Jiang Luqiang of Silk Road School (SRS) went to Heilongjiang University and Harbin Institute of Technology to conduct research on programs for international students studying in China.
On the morning of the 11th, Wei Shuang, Secretary of the School of International Culture and Education at Heilongjiang University, Guan Yuan, Dean, and relevant department heads had a discussion with Jiang Xiaoli and her delegation. At the meeting, Dean Guan Yuan introduced the history and basic situation of the college, and elaborated on the specific practices and achievements of the college around the research topic. Secretary Wei Shuang expressed his hope to achieve win-win cooperation with SRS in enrollment, research and other aspects in the future.
On the afternoon of the 11th, Zhao Wen, Deputy Dean of the School of International Education at Harbin Institute of Technology received Jiang Xiaoli and her delegation. At the symposium, Zhao Wen introduced the history and overview of Harbin Institute of Technology's enrollment of international students in China, and focused on answering the current situation of Harbin Institute of Technology's enrollment channels, management of international students, and distribution of international students’ academic interests and intentions of international students in response to the research topic.
At the symposium, combining the international characteristics of Suzhou Campus and Dushu Lake High School Diocese, Jiang Xiaoli introduced the overview of SRS Contemporary Chinese Studies and her thoughts on future development. Jiang Xiaoli had in-depth exchanges with representatives from two universities, fully understood the situation of international student training programs, and discussed future cooperation in enrollment, employment, talent cultivation, practical research, and other aspects.
