Silk Road School Held the 3rd Salon

On the morning of November 9th, Silk Road School Held the 3rd Salon in the 414 student activity room of the library, which was hosted by Professor LIU Xinguang with International students from France, India, Liberia, Bangladesh, Russia, Georgia, Pakistan, Zambia, Ghana and other countries participated in the presentation and discussion.
The discussion focused more on the Chinese silk history, culture and the dynasties at that time, which the overseas students had interest in knowing the remarkable history of China.
The students also asked about the philosophy of Confucius and how his philosophy changed or impacted the Chinese learning culture in a positive way.
Mercy also shared her views on how learning Chinese history is important, she said “it has helped me have a broad view on how the Asian civilization started and how china is in modern times. She continued to edge her fellow students to take keen interest in learning Chinese history.
In addition, the students also discussed about different religions, dynasties and other topics, and gained a lot in the exchange and dialogue with Professor LIU.
