Academic Salon II: International Situation and Chinese Diplomacy
On the morning of November 20, the second academic salon of Silk Road School was held in the room 414 of the library. The salon was guided by Prof. Li Qingsi of the School of International Relations, and students from Bangladesh, Zambia, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Ghana, Russia, Sri Lanka, and Kenya discussed the recent international hot topics and China's foreign policy.
During the event, students discussed issues such as the foreign policy of the new U.S. president after he took office, the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and asked Prof. Li to explain China's foreign policy strategy in the current situation.
Prof. Li shares his views on these issues in an organized manner, interpreting the current international situation with unique insights and examples. When referring to relations with countries around the world, Prof. Li re-emphasized China's independent and peaceful foreign policy, and in the face of increasing global challenges, China strives to maintain a peaceful and stable international environment while safeguarding its national interests.
